KATHMANDU, Dec 26: The newly-appointed prime minister and ministers took the oath of office and secrecy from President Bidya Devi Bhandari at Sheetal Niwas on Monday.

KATHMANDU, Dec 26: The newly-appointed prime minister and ministers took the oath of office and secrecy from President Bidya Devi Bhandari at Sheetal Niwas on Monday.


The newly-appointed Prime Minister of Nepal, Pushpa Kamal Dahal as well as Deputy Prime Ministers of Nepal, Bishnu Paudel of the CPN-UML, Narayankaji Shrestha of CPN (Maoist Center) and Rabi Lamichhane of Rastriya Swatantra Party took the oath of office and secrecy from President Bhandari.

Paudel has been appointed as the finance minister, Shrestha as Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport and Lamichhane as the Minister for Home Affairs. Other ministers are Jwala Kumari Shah, Damodar Bhandari, Rajendra Rai and Abdul Khan. Their duties will be assigned later.
