KATHMANDU, May 30: A group of independent youths staged a demonstration today in Maitighar in favor of cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane.

The agitating youths staged demonstrations with banners and pamphlets saying that justice should be served to Sandeep. The final hearing in the case of Lamichhane, who is on trial for the rape of a minor, is being held today.
