'Ilicit relationship' results in murder

KATHMANDU, Feb 17: Within twelve hours of the murder of Ishwori Baral (Khadka) 30, a staff at a restaurant in Teku, Metropolitan Police Range Office Kathmandu nabbed Rumba Aale, 35, of Syaule, Sindhupalchowk, suspecting his hand in the killing.



The police think the murder resulted from an “illicit relationship” between Baral and Aale.[break]



MPRO Chief Rana Bahadur Chanda said that police was able to nab the accused based on a tip-off. A squad lead by police inspector Manjil Mukarung nabbed Aale from near his residence at Samakhushi.



According to the police, the two were having illicit relationship since the last two to three years.



Ishwori was murdered near her rented room on Saturday night while returning from her work at Teku. According to the police, Rumba has confessed that he killed her after she started threatening him about revealing their affair to their family members.



SSP Chanda said, “Both of them were married and had separate families, therefore, their relationship was not moral.”



Ishwori was a mother of two children and her husband works in a Gulf country. Aale was an employee of Cosmic Manpower, Samakhushi.



The police have seized the knife used in the murder from Aale´s room.
