KATHMANDU, July 3: Nepal defeated UAE by three wickets in the seventh place playoff semifinal of the ICC One-Day Cricket World Cup Qualifier.
In the match held at the Takashinga Sports Club in Harare of Zimbabwe, Nepal met the target of 182 runs in 44 overs.
For Nepal's victory, Dipendra Singh Airee contributed 79 runs while Sandip Lamichhane made 23 runs.

Nepal's initial batting remained comparatively poor today as no other player except Kushal Bhurtel, Gyanendra Malla and Gulsan Jha contributed double digit runs for Nepal.
Of the ten teams, Nepal is competing for the seventh place after Nepal could not secure the sixth place in the ICC One-Day Cricket World Cup Qualifier.
Nepal is scheduled to play with Ireland on Tuesday for seventh place.
Nepal's Dipendra Singh Airee was named the Player of the Match in today's competition.
