JANAKPURDHAM, Dec 12: A husband has been arrested on the charge of murdering his wife in Dhanusa.
District Police Office, Dhanusha, has arrested Birendra Yadav, a resident of Shantinagar, Bateshwar Rural Municipality-5 of Dhanusha, on the charge of murdering his 27-year-old wife Ritadevi Yadav.

The police said that Rita Devi was killed by a homemade weapon at around 2PM on Sunday night. Her husband, the accused of the murder, was arrested by the police this morning.
The locals brought Rita to Kavya Hospital in Janakpur for treatment but the hospital declared her dead.
Dhanusha Police Spokesperson DSP Pradeep Chhetri informed Republica that the husband has been arrested and necessary investigation has been started.
