Humla Jeep Accident: One of the seven injured succumbs to injuries

SURKHET, Aug 22: One person has died from injuries sustained in a jeep accident in Gaurisalla, Chankheli Rural Municipality-2, Humla. The deceased is 24-year-old Ramesh Malla.

SURKHET, Aug 22: One person has died from injuries sustained in a jeep accident in Gaurisalla, Chankheli Rural Municipality-2, Humla. The deceased is 24-year-old Ramesh Malla.


The police have reported that he died during treatment at the Karnali Province Hospital in Surkhet.

On Wednesday morning, four seriously injured individuals from the jeep accident in Gaurisalla were airlifted to the provincial hospital by a Simrik Air helicopter.


According to the Karnali Province Police Office, the accident involved a jeep with the registration number Karnali Pradesh 200 Cha 0922, which was traveling from Gaurisalla to Deuli Bazaar.


Among the seven people injured in the accident, Surendra Bahadur Shahi and Til Bahadur Shahi from Chankheli Rural Municipality-2, and Ramesh Malla and Prithvi Rawat from Chhayanath Rara Municipality-13 were brought to Surkhet for further treatment.
