House of Representatives and National Assembly Meeting: Condolences motions on the demise of Giri being presented

KATHMANDU, August 22: The meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) and the National Assembly is sitting today.

The meeting of the HoR is going to be held at 1 PM at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.

In today's meeting, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota is scheduled to present a condolence motion on the sad demise of Nepali Congress (NC) lawmaker Pradip Giri.

Due to Giri's death, the meeting scheduled for Sunday was postponed.

Likewise, the National Assembly meeting will start at 1 PM today, according to the Parliament Secretariat. In the meeting, there is a possible agenda to present a condolence motion on the death of Giri, a member of the HoR.
