BUTWAL, Nov 18: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has urged armed groups that have not surrendered their weapons to come to the mainstream national politics by handing over their weapons.
Stating that the politics of violence will not yield any result, Home Minister Khand urged all parties and forces to come into the mainstream politics.
Addressing a program organized by Nepali Congress (NC) Rupandehi chapter in Bhairahawa on Wednesday, Minister Khand said that the government is determined to bring the Netra Bikra Chanda aka Biplab-led group into the mainstream national politics by addressing its political demands.
Minister Khand also said that the conflict between the party and the government would escalate when the party president and the prime minister are different people. He also argued that President Deuba should be reelected as the party president again.
