KATHMANDU, June 25: The weather department has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall at one or two places in Koshi and Sudurpaschim Provinces today. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is also likely in some hilly areas of the country.
Heavy rainfall likely in some provinces today
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the country is currently under the influence of monsoon winds, which are felt across the country. The weather will remain partly to generally cloudy across the country today. There is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall and snowfall at a few places in the high-hilly and mountainous areas of all the provinces.
Later tonight, the weather will be generally cloudy in Koshi, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces and the rest of the hilly areas and will be partly to generally cloudy in the rest of the country. There is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning at some places in the hilly areas, including Koshi, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces, and at a few places in the rest of the country.
There is also a chance of heavy to very heavy rainfall in one or two areas of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snowfall at a few places in the high-hilly and mountainous areas of all provinces.
