KATHMANDU, Oct 12: On Thursday, the Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) initiated a constructive conversation with Balendra Shah (Balen), the mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC). According to HAN, the discussion revolved around advancing the KMC's plan to bolster the nation's tourism promotion initiatives.
HAN President Binayak Shah presented extensive plans for the tourism industry during the meeting. The focus of the discussion was on garnering local-level support to enhance tourism in Nepal. Shah emphasized the need to establish a robust promotional program in the international tourism market, taking into account international practices and Nepal's tourism potential.

Mayor Shah, in response, expressed his optimism about advancing comprehensive strategies for tourism promotion in the metropolis. He assured that the metropolis’s various programs will be executed efficiently, avoiding duplication, according to HAN.
