Other demands are that two states should be formed in the Tarai and provisions with regard to citizenship, inclusive and proportional representataion should retain as per previous interim constitution. They have also demanded that electoral constituency should be determined on the basis of population.Debesh Jha, chief of foreign department of Tarai Madhes National Campaign, said that they submitted the memo to PM Oli at the Prime Minister's Office at Singha Durbar.
In response, PM KP Sharma Oli said that discussions would be held on the matter at a meeting on December 15 in Baluwatar.
The alliance comprises the Raj Kishor Yadav-led Forum Ganatantrik, Anil Kumar Jha-led Nepal Sadbhawana Party, JP Gupta-led Tarai Madhes National Campaign and Sharad Singh Bhandari-led Rastriya Madhesi Samajwadi Party. RSS
