At a party cadres' gathering held in Waling by NC Syangja -2, Poudel attributed the emergence of the prevailing scenario to the failure to notify the people of the contents of the constitution.
“The constitution was drafted under the leadership of Nepali Congress and the party will lead its implementation,” Poudel said adding, “It is our common responsibility to successfully implement the constitution promulgated under NC’s leadership.”
The main opposition party Nepali Congress is serious towards resolving the problem prevailing in the country, Poudel further added while urging the government to be serious and invite the agitating parties to negotiations at the earliest for giving the country an outlet.
During the program, Poudel claimed that communist forces were only generating problems which NC has continued to solve. He said the days of the government – which has split ministries – were numbered.
The leader who is aspiring to become the NC President said the upcoming 13th General Convention must transform the party and also modify the old views and culture as per necessity. RSS
