Pointing towards the Maoist statement that the present caretaker government cannot bring budget, he said that none of the parties should obstruct development works and daily functioning of the state.
Pokharel also said that a new government will be formed soon if the Maoist party implements the 12-point agreement and Comprehensive Peace Accord.
He claimed that the Maoists were not serious on peace process and constitution-drafting and urged parties to be move ahead on the basis of consensus and collaboration.
Caretaker govt can´t bring budget: Bhattarai
Meanwhile, vice-chairman of UCPN (Maoist) Dr. Baburam Bhattarai said his party will not support if the present caretaker government brings budget.
Talking to reporters at Geta Airport in Dhangadhi on Wednesday, he said there is no practice in the world that a caretaker government can present budget. There is no alternative to formation of a new government under the Maoist leadership for peace process and constitution-writing, he said.
"Since the Maoist party alone is half portion of peace process the next government should be formed under his party´s leadership," he said.
He also accused Nepali Congress and CPN-UML of the present political situation.
