KATHMANDU, Jan 24: The government has recommended to the President Ram Chandra Poudel to summon the meeting of the federal parliament on February 5.


A cabinet meeting held at Singha Durbar on Tuesday decided to recommend to President Poudel  to convene the meeting for 4:00 pm on the day, said Minister for Information and Communications Technology Rekha Sharma.

Minister Sharma, also Spokesperson of the government, shared that the meeting also decided to form a team to hold talks with the government of Japan so as to finalize the draft agreement on concessional loan amount to over Rs 31.02 billion for the implementation of Koteshwor Intersection Improvement Project.


The cabinet also nominated Dr Ashim Bhandari as the coordinator of the National Anti-Doping Agency as per the National Sports Development Regulations-2079 BS, Minister Sharma shared.
