According to the same letter from NTC, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology asked the Ministry of Federal Affairs to coordinate with the local level to solve the problem.

“Different local levels, including the Kathmandu metropolis, are haphazardly cutting off the network wires extended by this company, for the sake of maintaining urban beauty, and as a result, the telephone, internet and television services provided by the company are being disrupted and the customers are being deprived of services,” states the letter.

In order to restore the cable network cut by the local level, as a large amount of cable has to be imported from abroad it will take more time and cost to regularize the service, said the letter.

It is also asked to coordinate with the company's local offices while doing urban beautification works.
