KATHMANDU, Feb 3: The Police Headquarters transferred 37 Superintendents of Police (SPs) after promoting them from Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) to SP, following the Home Ministry's (Secretary level) decision on Magh 20. It assigned them to their new positions on Monday.
Inspector General of Police (IGP) Basanta Bahadur Kunwar conferred the rank insignia on the promoted SPs on Sunday. Among them, Kuldeep Chand, who secured the top position in the promotion, took charge at the Kathmandu District Police Office.
23 Nepal Police SPs transferred
The Police Headquarters assigned Sumit Khadka, who ranked second in the promotion, to the Special Bureau and posted Manohar Bhatt at the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office.
