According to Prime Minister's Press Advisor Pramod Dahal the government and the agitating Tharu community will hold talks at 7 pm at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar today.Movement Mobilization Committee member Minraj Chaudhari has confirmed about the meeting between the government and the Tharu group. The meeting will begin at 7 pm today, he told Republica.
Chaudhary said the nine-member talks team is participating in the meeting with the government. However, Nepali Congress Lawmaker, who is also talks team member Tejulal Chaudhari said he has not yet received formal information about the meeting. "My name is in the talks team list but I do not have information about it," Tejulal said.
