KATHMANDU, Jan 22: The prices of gold and silver have declined slightly in the local market on Thursday. Compared to Wednesday, the price of gold has dropped by Rs 2,900 per tola and silver by Rs 50 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of one tola of standard gold stands at Rs 292,200 today, while silver is priced at Rs 5,870 per tola.
Gold and silver prices remain steady
On Wednesday, one tola of standard gold was priced at Rs 295,100, and silver at Rs 5,920 per tola.
International media reports indicate that today, gold is trading at USD 4,695 per ounce in the global market, while the same quantity of silver is priced at USD 95 per ounce.
