KATHMANDU, Dec 17: The prices of gold and silver are on a steady rise. Compared to Tuesday, gold has gone up by Rs 700 per tola, while silver of the same quantity has increased by Rs 170.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of one tola of gold is now Rs 259,700, while one tola of silver stands at Rs 4,455.

On Tuesday, gold was trading at Rs 259,000 per tola, and silver was priced at Rs 3,885 per tola.
Internationally, one ounce of gold is being traded at USD 4,330, and an equivalent quantity of silver is priced at USD 65, according to global market reports.
