KATHMANDU, Jan 12: The price of gold has risen significantly in the local market, following a general increase in the international market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, gold is currently being traded at Rs 155,700 per tola.
The price of silver has also risen, with an increase of Rs 15 per tola. The current price of silver is Rs 1,860 per tola.
