KATHMANDU, Aug. 10: Gold prices edged lower in the Nepali market on Monday, while silver prices moved in the opposite direction, rising by Rs 25 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA).
The price of gold has been fixed at Rs 301,500 per tola today, down Rs 200 from Rs 301,700 per tola on Sunday.

Meanwhile, silver has climbed to Rs 4,670 per tola from Rs 4,645 a day earlier, registering a gain of Rs 25 per tola, FENEGOSIDA said.
In the international market, gold is trading at $4,322 per ounce, while silver is being traded at $63 per ounce, according to international media reports.
