Gold price sees sharp drop

On Monday, hallmark gold was traded at Rs 198,100 per tola and silver at Rs 2,315 per tola. This means gold fell by Rs 1,300 per tola and silver declined by Rs 10 per tola.

KATHMANDU, Aug 12: The prices of gold and silver fell in the local market on Tuesday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), hallmark gold dropped to Rs 196,800 per tola, while the price of silver fell to Rs 2,305 per tola on Tuesday.
