Gold price rises by Rs 2,300 per tola

KATHMANDU, May 30: The price of gold has increased by Rs 2,300 per tola in the domestic market on Thursday.

KATHMANDU, May 30: The price of gold has increased by Rs 2,300 per tola in the domestic market on Thursday.


Fine gold is being traded at Rs 140,500 per tola today, up from Rs 138,200 per tola on Wednesday.


Similarly, the price of standard gold has increased by Rs 2,250 per tola to become Rs 139,800 per tola on Thursday. It was sold at Rs 137,550 per tola on the previous day.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has decreased by Rs 30 per tola. Silver which was traded at Rs 1,930 per tola on Wednesday is being traded at Rs 1,900 per tola today.


In contrast, the international market witnessed a decline in gold prices. It traded at $2358.29 per ounce on Wednesday and dropped to $2332.72 on Thursday.
