Kathmandu, Jan 16: The price of gold increased by Rs 1,200 per tola in the domestic market on Thursday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations, the price of gold has been fixed at Rs 156,600 per tola today, reflecting an increase from Rs 155,400 per tola on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has increased by Rs 50 per tola. Silver is being traded at Rs 1,880 per tola on Thursday, up from Rs 1,830 per tola on Wednesday.
