A 13-year-old girl of Birtamod Municipality was raped last night, the police said.
Police said that Surya Man Tamang, 40, who was earning daily wages from the construction works, raped the girl.
Police Inspector Narayan Prasad Gautam said Tamang asked the girl to bring a cup of tea and raped her by taking on the rooftop.
Police Inspector Gautam said Tamang has been arrested while the victim's health check up was carried out in Mechi Zonal Hospital, Bhadrapur.
