GULMI, April 18: A 14-year-old girl of Chhatrakot rural municipality-6 in Gulmi district has been raped. Samir Miya, a.k.a. Hanuman, 45, of Tansen municipality of Palpa district raped the girl on Wednesday.
According to Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Gulmi, Deepak Kumar Basnet, Miya raped the girl alluring her of money.

Miya had given lift to the girl on his motorcycle saying he would drop her at her house at a time when the girl and her mom were returning home from maternal uncle's house.
A joint team from the District Police Office and Arghatosh Police Post of Arghakhachi district arrested Miya when he was hiding at his house.
