GAO files case against acid attacker

KATHMANDU, April 12: The Government Attorney's Office, Kathmandu today filed a case of attempted murder at the Kathmandu District Court against Jeevan BK, who is accused of throwing acid on two girl students at local Basantapur on February 22, 2015.

Registrar at the Court Shree Prasad Sanjel said a case of attempted murder has been registered at the court against BK, the accused in the acid attack.


Police on March 19 arrested the 20-year-old BK, a resident of Fulasi VDC in Ramechhap District and currently living in a rented room at local Tokha from his room. Police filed a case against him today after 24 days of his arrest following completion of investigation. RSS
