At the time when nation is reeling under fuel crisis due to blockade by India and protest by Madhesi Front, the Thori border point has converted into a major place for smuggling of fuel.
Indian nationals are found selling thousands liters of fuel in Thori located some 70 kilometers northwest of Birgunj. The fuel smuggled through the border point reaches Kathmandu and other cities of Nepal.
There is crowd of people selling and purchasing fuel round the clock.
