Fresh 4.6 magnitude tremor jolts Kathmandu Valley

KATHMANDU, July 23: A fresh aftershock of devastating April 25 earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale jolted the Kathmandu valley at 10:14 on Wednesday night.

According to the National Seismological Centre, the epicenter of the quake was recorded at Bhrikuti Mandap, the heart of Kathmandu valley, near Singha Durbar.People in Kathmandu had come out of their houses after the tremor jolted the valley and surrounding areas.

Police, however, said that there has been no report of significant damage due to tremor.
