Three Nepali nationals killed in Lucknow bus accident

TIKAPUR, Jan 9: It has been confirmed that only four people died in the bus accident in Lucknow, India. Among the dead are Chandra Bahadur Saud, Lalit Saud and the driver of the bus who could not be identified and a woman from Tikapur municipality.

TIKAPUR, Jan 9: It has been confirmed that only four people died in the bus accident in Lucknow, India. Among the dead are Chandra Bahadur Saud, Lalit Saud and the driver of the bus who could not be identified and a woman from Tikapur municipality.


Police Superintendent of Kailali District Police Office, Devendra Pal, has confirmed that three residents of Tikapur, including an Indian driver, died when a bus coming from Gujarat crashed near Lucknow, India. Relatives of the deceased have gone to the bus accident site.

A bus coming from Gujarat, India to Tikapur, Nepal met with an accident this morning at a place called Unnau near Lucknow. It is said that there are 66 passengers in the bus.


Most of the people traveling in the bus were injured. It is said that the health condition of some of them is critical. They are being treated in various health institutions. It is said that the bus was hit by two other buses from both sides. The number of the bus could not be revealed.


Bus services are being operated from Gujarat, Surat and other regions of India so that only Nepalese can travel.
