KATHMANDU, Aug 30: Four journalists remain out of contact and nine media outlets have suffered damage following the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers on Wednesday.
According to the Press Council Nepal, those still missing are Tek Bahadur Thami and Shekhar Dhungana of Naya Patrika, Raj Kumar Nepali of Nagarik Post, and Suresh Simkhada of Shilapatra.

The council said that two journalists who had initially gone missing have since been contacted, while three others reported damage to their property.
Press Council Nepal further stated that several media outlets, including Radio Trishuli, Gajjap Radio, Radio Chimteshwor, Radio Rasuwa FM, Jalapa Radio, Radio Bhairavi, Radio Langtang, and Nuwakot FM, sustained damage in the floods and have been unable to resume operations.
