Four arrested with tiger skin

KATHMANDU, Sept 5: Police arrested four persons trying to sell a tiger skin illegally in Kathmandu on Sunday.



Wildlife Conservation Nepal (WCN) tipped off police about Ashok Keshari, 19, Raju Yadav, 21, Jay Narayan Yadav, 48, of Bara and Binod Mahato, 42, of Parsa who were trying to sell a 7-feet long tiger skin at Sundhara, Kathmandu.



“We found them after five-month long surveillance and informed the police,” Buddhi Ratna Dangol, an illegal wildlife trade expert at WCN said.



They were staying at the Simrik Lodge at Sundhara.
