KATHMANDU, Aug 28: Chitwan Tigers announced a couple of English all-rounders as their overseas recruits for the forthcoming season of Everest Premier League (EPL), on Monday. Max Holden, the former England U-19 captain, and James Fuller, a former New Zealand U-19 player, both currently play for Middlesex in English County Championships.
Holden is a graduate of the Middlesex Youth Academy. The 20-year-old left-handed batsman has an individual best of 84 runs in T20 matches for Middlesex. He can bowl handy right-arm off-breaks too. Holden has two centuries and above thousand runs in 20 first-class matches for Middlesex.

Similarly, James Fuller, an experienced stalwart, has played 44 first-class matches in county championships. The right-handed fast bowler has taken 15 wickets in 14 matches so far in the ongoing Vitality Blast T20 Cup in England with the best figures of 6/28. The 28-year-old seam bowler formerly represented Gloucestershire before joining Middlesex.
Fuller took a hat-trick across two overs against Worcestershire at Cheltenham in July 2013. He is known for tonking the ball as well with a strike rate of 149 in 76 T20 matches along with 94 wickets with a bowling strike rate of 16.4.
Earlier, Kathmandu Kings XI had announced the United Arab Emirates captain Rohan Mustafa and Irish World Cup hero Kevin O’Brien as their overseas players. Similarly, Paras Khadka announced the extension of Hong Kong duo of Babar Hayat and Anshuman Rath to represent Biratnagar Warriors for the second season in succession.
Bhairahawa Gladiators, Pokhara Rhinos and Lalitpur Patriots are yet to announce any signings for the upcoming season.
