Foreign Minister Shrestha to leave for China on official visit on March 24

KATHMANDU, March 21: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha is set to embark on an official visit to China on March 24 (Sunday).

KATHMANDU, March 21: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha is set to embark on an official visit to China on March 24 (Sunday).


Minister Shrestha’s visit to China is in response to an invitation extended by Wang Yi, the Foreign Minister of China.

According to the Foreign Ministry Secretariat, Minister Shrestha will undertake the visit as part of a goodwill mission.


During his stay in China, Minister Shrestha is scheduled to engage in discussions with Minister Wang and attend an event hosted by the Embassy of Nepal.


Minister Shrestha is scheduled to return to Nepal on April 1.
