KATHMANDU, Oct 29: Chief Justice Bishowambhar Prasad Shrestha embarks on an official visit to China, responding to an invitation from the President of the Supreme People's Court of China. Shrestha is leading a delegation for this visit.
During this diplomatic mission, the Chief Justice's team is scheduled to undertake an official visit to the Supreme People's Court of China, spanning from November 1 to November 3. The agenda includes a formal meeting with the President of the Supreme People's Court of China and discussions with high-ranking officials of the court, focusing on areas of mutual cooperation within the realm of law and justice systems.

Preceding this visit, the Nepali delegation is set to actively participate in the Central Asia and South Asia Legal Forum, an event organized by the China Law Society in Xinjiang Province, taking place from October 29 to October 31, as conveyed in a statement by Supreme Court Spokesperson Bhadrakali Pokharel.
The Chief Justice's visiting party comprises not only Bishowambhar Prasad Shrestha but also his wife, Roshni Amatya Shrestha, Judge Dr. Anand Mohan Bhattarai along with his wife, Pushpa Bhattarai, Supreme Court Chief Registrar Lal Bahadur Kunwar, and Branch Officer Nabin Kumar Yadav. The team is scheduled to return to Nepal on November 3.
