KATHMANDU, Aug 22: Chief Justice Bishowambhar Prasad Shrestha, the newly appointed Chief Justice (CJ), has officially taken the oath of office and secrecy.
On Tuesday evening, President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to Shrestha in a ceremony held at the Presidential Office. Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Speaker Devraj Ghimire and others were present at the oath-taking ceremony.
