KATHMANDU, Nov 20: The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has solicited suggestions from its members in a bid to help address the present economic crisis facing the country.
The umbrella organization of the Nepali private sector demanded suggestions as a part of its national economic discourse.
Govt seeks suggestions on appointment procedures for transition...
A meeting presided over by FNCCI President Chandra Prasad Dhakal on October 12 had presented a proposal to the government seeking formation of a high-level mechanism to which Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal had responded affirmatively.
The FNCCI is gearing up for the next leg of discourse soon. The FNCCI has issued a circular to its members in all districts asking them to furnish suggestions to the government in the next course of actions to address the ongoing economic crisis.
The FNCCI then will compile and present a host of recommendations to the government for it to put in place private sector-friendly economic policies as well as to come up with resolutions to ease the economic crisis.
