Fleeing prisoner arrested

KATHMANDU, Jan 29: Police on Thursday arrested one of the eight prisoners who had fled the Kapilvastu prison on January 15, our correspondent Gopal Bhandari reported.



A joint team of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force arrested Prabhu Prasad Teli from his in-laws´ house in Mainihawa, Dohani VDC-2.



Sixteen securitymen including sub-inspector Man Bahadur Thapa and jailor Surya Narayan Yadav have been kept in custody for investigation into the incident.
