Five injured in motorcycle accident in Palpa

PALPA, Nov 14: Five people were injured when two motorcycles collided in Rampur of East Palpa. The condition of three of the injured is critical, according to the police.

PALPA, Nov 14: Five people were injured when two motorcycles collided in Rampur of East Palpa. The condition of three of the injured is critical, according to the police.


16-year-old Aakash Saru of Rampur-10 Admara, 17-year-old Sudip Sinjali Magar of the same place, 19-year-old Bidur Bhandari of Chapkot-9, Syangja, 19-year-old Sudip Bhandari of the same place and 6-year-old boy LS Bhandari of the same place were injured, according to Information Officer of District Police Office Palpa, Sugandha Shrestha.

Among the injured, Aakash, Bidur and Sudeep are in serious condition and all the injured are being treated at the United Mission Hospital in Tansen.


The accident occurred on Monday evening when a motorcycle ( Lu 21 Pa 5844) going towards Rampur Bazar from Rampur-10 Bardale and a motorcycle ( Lu 21 Pa 9902) going towards Rampur collided with each other.


The police said that further investigation into the accident is ongoing.
