The fire started at a cowshed of a local Bhoj Dev Mandal and spread quickly to surrounding houses, said Inspector of Armed Police Force. Local Parvati Rajak, 23, was injured while attempting to douse the fire.According to police, the fire was extinguished with the help of a fire engine brought from Rajbiraj. Security personnel from Armed Police Force and Nepal Police teamed up with the locals to douse the fire.
Police said properties worth 2.3 million rupees were destroyed in the fire.
