Financial support lent to children at risk

SINDHULI, Jan 29: The vulnerable children exposed to high risk situation received financial assistance from the District Child Welfare Committee here. 



The Committee provided assistance to 150 children to help continue their education and for livelihood.

Child Welfare Committee, Sindhuli in a survey held in the district found out that 4,500 children were at risk. Among those children, the Committee distributed Rs 5,000 each to 150 children at highest risk, Committee's Information Management Official, Lok Hari Acharya said. 


He added that the money was provide to orphans, children living separate from their families and those coming from fragile economic conditions. 


The Committee had distributed money among 957 children last year, but said it will be distributing money to only 200 children this year. RSS
