PANCHTHAR, July 19: A person died and his two children were injured at Phidim-2 of Panchthar after they were attacked by their neighbor with a khukuri.
Manoj Tumbahamphe, 19 of Odin last night attacked his neighbour Devraj Tumbapo, 49, with a khukuri, leaving him critically injured who later breathed his last while being taken to Dharan for treatment, the District Police Office Panchthar said. The two had disputes before the attack.

The accused also attacked Devraj's daughter Sabitra, 26, son Aaindra, 19, with a sharp weapon.
The two have been taken to Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences for treatment. The accused is on the run after the incident and police have launched a manhunt for him. RSS
