SINDHUPALCHOWK: Two persons were murdered in a Khukuri attack in Upper Chimling of Balefi Rural Municipality-7 on Sunday evening.
A local Bijay Tamang killed Basumaya Tamang, 70, and Santa Bir Tamang, 59, of the same place using Khukuri, according to the District Police Office, Sindhupalchowk. Bijay was under the influence of alcohol when he attacked them with Khukuri.

Superintendent of Police Rajan Adhikari said that police have arrested Bijay and further investigation into the case is currently underway.
