LAHORE, Feb 20: Indian media reported that a popular film actress Bhavana was gang raped in the Southern state Kerala of India. She had left her home for recording and was subjected to this inhumane act in the way.
The Malayalam performer told police that a car stopped containing five people in the middle of a busy road and pulled her in. She was sexually harassed for about two hours. On the other hand, another 24-year-old woman was forced in sexual activity in federal capital New Delhi.

Police remained that both cases of rape were being investigated. They are hopeful to catch the criminals involved.
During the most embarrassing situations, the Kerala CPM Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said that the incident was isolated and that the law and order situation was not that worse. The state government tried to play down the whole incident which is nothing less than shameful.
Meanwhile, India has become a living hell for women due to the increased number of rapes which have become a usual crime. Even the Indian capital cannot safeguard its women from gang rapes.
