The Committee has served an ultimatum demanding the government meet its demands by November 12 or else it would stage the protest program beginning November 15. [break]
Issuing a press statement, the Committee said it would organize rallies on November 15-25, torch rallies on November 26 and enforce an indefinite transport shutdown in all Terai and some hilly districts November 27 onwards.
The Committee’s demands include full implementation of all agreements reached between it and the government regarding Faizan’s killing and action against the culprits.
It has also demanded that the Muslim leader, who was shot dead last September in a broad daylight in Kathmandu, be declared martyr.
