Exchange of tickets between NC and Maoist Center in Myagdi

MYAGDI, Oct 9: Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN (Maoist Center) have exchanged tickets at the last minute for the elections to be held on November 20 in Myagdi.

MYAGDI, Oct 9: Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN (Maoist Center) have exchanged tickets at the last minute for the elections to be held on November 20 in Myagdi.


They exchanged the tickets allocated for the NC and the Maoist Center in both the constituencies of the House of Representatives (HoR) and the Province Assembly elections. Both the constituencies of the HoR and the Provincial Assembly were agreed to be taken by the Nepali Congress from the Center, but now it is given to the Maoist Center. According to NC Myagdi, the party has been transferred from the center as per the wishes of the district leaders after NC leaders were dissatisfied and the Maoist said that it will be easy in the province.

Now, NC Chairman Kham Bahadur Garbuja Khambir and Hari Bhandari, leader of CPN (Maoist Center) for Province 'A' and Suvin Jugjali, District Coordinator of Maoist Center in Province 'B' have become candidates for HoR from the alliance in Myagdi. 


Leaders of Nepali Congress and Maoist Center Myagdi have also said that they will strengthen the election campaign by following the agreement in the district.


NC took the form of a big controversy in Myagdi after the Maoist Center was united. Along with this, there will be a tough competition in the House of Representatives between the Nepali Congress candidate Garbuja and CPN UML's Hari Krishna Shrestha. Likewise, the CPN-UML has nominated district president Debendra Bahadur KC in province A and Yam Garbuja in province B.
