KATHMANDU, Sept 1: The fourth edition of the Nepal Electric Power and Lights and Nepal Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances International Exhibition concluded on Sunday at Bhrikutimandap.
The exhibition was jointly organized by Media Space Solutions, Futurex Trade Fair & Events, and Exhibition and Trade Services India Pvt. Ltd., with the Nepal Electricity Authority and the Nepal Solar Power Producers’ Association serving as supporting organizations.
According to the organizers, the event saw a large turnout, including representatives from companies in the electric and electronics sector, government officials, individuals and organizations interested in distributing domestic and international brands, traders, industrialists and the general public.

Featuring over 100 stalls from both domestic and international companies, the exhibition showcased high-quality, advanced, and innovative technologies, including transmission and distribution equipment, energy supply and control devices, house wiring materials, wires, cables and conductors, modern switches, LED lighting, electronic devices, home appliances, charging stations, batteries, office-use electrical technologies, and other electrical products.
The exhibition aimed to promote and encourage the use of electrical equipment, foster business development in the electricity and quality electrical goods sector, and facilitate domestic and international trade in the industry.
Held a few weeks before the major Nepali festival of Dashain, the exhibition provided customers with an opportunity to conveniently purchase a variety of national and international brand products.
The Nepal Electric, Power, Lights and Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances Exhibition primarily serves as a platform for Nepalese electricity-related industries, electrical equipment producers, household electrical product manufacturers, and energy-related businesses to foster partnerships, strengthen relationships, and create business opportunities.
The event at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, was organized with the objectives of increasing the use of electrical media, boosting the consumption of growing hydropower production in the country, economically empowering Nepal, and supporting the overall development and trade promotion of energy and electrical entrepreneurs, the organizers said in a press statement.
