KATHMANDU, Dec 29: 15th National Industrial Exhibition has started in Kathmandu on Friday. The weeklong exhibition of shoes, sandals, and leather products is being organized at Bhrikutimandap, aiming to promote domestic products. The exhibition will continue till January 3, 2019.
Inaugurating the event, Matrika Prasad Yadav, Minister for Industry, Commerce, and Supplies asked consumers to use domestic products.

He said that the government was always ready to promote domestic products.
According to the organizer, Footwear Manufacturers Association of Nepal, there are 11 sponsored pavilions along with 140 stalls in the exhibition that showcases domestic products coming from all over the country. Along with the finished products, raw materials required to produce those products will also be displayed during the event.
