The deceased has been identified as Sarswati Khatri, 71 of Khalanga-9, Rukum.
According to District Police Office, the woman died after falling into Patukhola, a ravine, while she was going to Nepal Bank Limited to collect her allowance.
Relatives of the deceased have reached the incident site. The body has been sent to the district hospital for post-mortem.
