Pyari Lal Kafle of Soru Rural Municipality-7 and Janaki Rokaya of Khatyad Rural Municipality got married through a legal process. "Although we have an age difference of 28 years, I consented on my own," said Rokaya.

Judge Bardewa provided a marriage certificate to the couple. This was the second marriage of both of them. Kafle's first wife died on 4 October, 2020, and Rokaya got divorced with her first husband on 19 December, 2022.

Both of them agreed to tie the knot, said the court registrar Gobinda Acharya. People gathered in the court to see the couple.
